And what about uninstalling it?
I've been looking for a Panther mouse theme so thanks.
For those who need detailed installation instructions: 1. untar the *.tar.gz you just downloaded in the directory you placed it 2. cd into the panther directory. 3. if ./install produces this error in your distro: bash: ./install: /bin/bash: bad interpreter: No such file or directory... ... try 'sh install' instead (I use freebsd and arch linux so I forgot how other popular distributions run shell scripts, but I'm sure they are all the same). 4. reboot and you should be good to go. w00 h00!!!
Could you make it so it spined clockwise and a tid bit faster Thanks, Nathan
This theme is now my default theme on my slack 10.1 box
How to install this theme in gnome 2.6???
I see a lot of really constructive comments here... Anyway; My comment actually just has to do with two things; 1. The edges of the loading icon is quite crispy and 2. The loading cursor doesn't spin nearly fast enough in comparison to the original on Mac OS X.
bad theme bad bad
now is my fake-osx-desktop nearly perfect :D
You can follow the instructions and select the new theme in Control Center/Periferics/Mouse/Cursor Theme/ and then, select "jaguarx". Buen trabajo Xavyiy. 8)
Hey, nice theme! I was just wondering if you could make a version that could be installed through KDE Control Center (Peripherals -> Mouse -> Cursor Themes)?
I don't know make a tar.gz for KDE control, if a people know, this is my amsn: xavierverguin[at]homail.com Thanks
Here's a bashlet to do it for you - run it in the same directory the tar.gz is in :) ____________________________________ #!/bin/bash mkdir -p $HOME/.icons/default tar xzf 13524-pantherx-1.0.tar.gz cd pantherx && cp -R cursors $HOME/.icons/default/ echo "[Icon Theme]" > $HOME/.icons/default/index.php echo "Inherits=cursors" >> $HOME/.icons/default/index.php ____________________________________ PS - I don't know if it works. :)
The installation instructions seems kind of weird: 1)Copy the folder "cursors" in: ~/.icons/default/ 2)Create a index.php whit: [Icon Theme] Inherits=cursors Firstly i guess i have to copy the directory "cursors" that's in the package. What do i do with "sources.tar.gz"? Secondly, create a index.php? You must mean index.theme? I think there's also a good idea to point out that index.theme should reside in the "default" directory. Thanks for a nice theme tho!
I have: Xavyiy@debian:~$ cd .icons/default/ Xavyiy@debian:~/.icons/default$ ls cursors index.php and it's rules good in my computer... the source.tar.gz is for developers.
ha? now it works, little server problem?
