Description: This is Amarok 1.x controller and a visualizer of informations about the songs. Tested with Amarok 1.4, but should work with older versions.
Based on Oxygen icons and some scripts from other kde-look.org projects.
It is SuperKaramba theme, but I placed it in Plasma section because it works with Plasma only.
Depends on SuperKaramba and ImageMagik.
Installation: 1. Download .skz file 2. Open .skz file through Plasma
If you have problem with album cover with version 0.2, try version 0.2.1. v0.2.1 - it is tar archive with ".AnotherAmarokControl" directory and "AnotherAmarokControl.skz" superkaramba theme file inside.
Installation for version 0.2.1: 1. Download .tar.gz file 2. Extract ".AnotherAmarokControl" directory into your homedir 3. Extract "AnotherAmarokControl.skz" file 4. Open "AnotherAmarokControl.skz" file through Plasma
I have some problems with v0.2.1 on ubuntu 8.10 with kde4.2. After I installed it like you described I haven't found it in the list. Anyway when I run it by superkaramba it displayed correctyly, and shows correctly track info, but there was no cover and buttons didn't work(such as play/pause etc)
traceback:

About buttons: what version of Amarok do you have?

Did you extracted ".AnotherAmarokControl" directory from tarball into your homedir?
Check if /home/user/.AnotherAmarokControl/getcover exist and it is executable.
Thanks a lot for this! The Oxygen System Monitor stopped working, and it had too many spacing issues and such. Now I can use *just* the control and dump the system monitor if I wanna calm my CPU down as much as possible (ie. during a benchmark(s)).
Thanks again!

A Plasmoid Binary, since it's a superkaramba widget just put it under the section of Script Plasmoids.
Does not show album cover in my case :(
Cover show, doesn't working here, too
