i had never seen this "copy to" option.
maybe it works, but in my menu this option its no working (i can't click on it, its disabled)
On the other hand, it does not seem very clear "To copy a file to a contact", for me makes more sense "Send a file to a contact"
PS: How do i enable the "copy to" option?
Well Jabber and MSN file transfer is supported with Kopete - but icq transfer is not.
So this won't work with icq either - and i did imagine of a miracle ;) it's a pity.

isn't it already implemented? select a file in konqueror, then copy to -> contact -> contactname Or maybe I did not understand what your service does?

I'm using kubuntu: this option is part of the konq-plugins package, which has very useful features ;)
also you should export your kopete contacts to the adress book
Does that also work with icq? File Transfer on icq network with kopete doesn't work yet..
