The original creator of this extension is AUR (https://addons.videolan.org/u/aur/). I just changed it so that it will be sorted by ascii characters.
When you create a moment it will now be sorted by ASCII value. Uppercase letters will always come first then lowercase letters.

I had never learned how to use lua before installing this extension, so I will probably not be updating the extension. But then again, if I do then I will most definitely upload what I do to it.
If there is enough people requesting to update this with requests, and if I have time outside of uni studying, I'll try to learn more about lua to be able to update the extension. No promises though.

Moments' Tracker allows you to track all your favorite movie/media moments and scenes.
Bookmark your favorite moment, give it a title/caption, and that's it.
Once you've done this, you can jump directly to your moment anytime you open that media file, no need to scroll through trying to find certain moment.
If you just want to mark your position so that you could resume from where you stopped, you could use the "Checkpoint" feature.
Click the "Checkpoint!" button, and retrieve it whenever you want using "Retrieve Checkpoint" button.
Whenever you open a media file, all your bookmarked moments are displayed so that you can manipulate it.
Install
To install Moments' Tracker, download moments_tracker_V1.lua file, and add it into the following destination:
Windows:
/Program Files/VideoLAN/VLC/lua/extensionsIn Mac OS X:
/Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/share/lua/extensions/In Linux:

But as an old programmer, I could not resist... and now got a new version working. timeline ordered moments lists ability to enter own media name code hardening in displays and interactions I will give this new version to you if you are interested, let me know. A.Rahman Rashed and you did the real difficult work, I only (hopefully) improved the surface.
