10 Another great update. Thanks for making this!
Thanks for the upvote.
9 9 excellent - I really like your themes! It's great to have options that aren't boring, flat, and devoid of color. Keep up the good work!
cheers!
Any way to get the old version back, so we can use different color schemes?
I'll have a look at it.
I found the old colorscheme design but it needs a whole lotta effort to make it work with modern versions of Plasma. Considering how unpopular it was there's not much motivation to resurrect it.
Updated. Colorschemes are back.
Thanks a ton! I will say, that I'm a little confused about a few things.. Namely, which colors are used for which parts? I would have assumed that 'Active Titlebar' and 'Active Titlebar Secondary' would be used for the gradient of active windows, with 'Inactive Titlebar' and 'Inactive Titlebar Secondary' used for the gradient of inactive titlebars.. But I'm not seeing that as being the case. I think those are the colors used for such things in other themes that feature gradients, so I sorta expected that to be the case here.
'Active Titlebar' and friends only works for decorations drawn in code, eg Breeze and Plastik (maybe Oxygen?). Aurorae (drawn) decorations can only rely on ColorScheme-* values. see here: https://develop.kde.org/docs/extend/plasma/theme/theme-details/
How do I install it? I'm on Arch Linux.
System Settings > Appearance > Window Decorations > Get New Window Decorations then search for Reactionary.
I don't have something like System Settings (I'm on i3 wm), I heard that I have to download the file and extract it into ~/.themes. My only problem is I don't know how to do that because I don't use a file manager and I don't know how to extract. This theme looks really really nice.
This theme is for KDE Plasma not i3.
Is there a version for i3? I saw someone who had Reactionary [GTK2/GTK3] on i3.
https://www.pling.com/p/1255932/ - that's my GTK hack of Reactionary. Use the link in the description for more GTK stuff.
nice stuff!, I like these types of themes.
Ta. Nice to do something that isn't 'flat' like the current trend.
Great!! Is there a possibility that you could release a KDE1 Aurorae Theme? It would be great as a Reactionary variant to use a KDE1 window decoration!
Sure, just post a link to a screenshot of what you want.
https://store.kde.org/p/1265970/ - something like that?

I know you maybe did this just for shits and giggles, but it's really a welcome release. Nowadays everything is flat and boring :). Cheers!
Thanks and yeah, flat is dull ;)
