Description: I thought I would post these so everyone could have a look backward at the progress that has been made by KDE developers and the artist who contribute to kde-look in the past couple of years. I hope you enjoy. The screen is of RH 6.2 in a VM and RH 8.0 on the desk. The Icons for RH 8.0 are a mix of Crystal and Noia.
...for posting this. Sometimes it's important to remind ourselves how much work is being done, not just by KDE developers, but by all open-source programmers.
nice work, how did you get the whole kicker like that? when i set the background its doing it with only the task bar. (not behind the K icon etc...) thx.
I had the same problem as you describe. For me, it manifests itself whenever I'm using Mosfet's liquid. I don't know if it's a direct or indirect cause, but that's what causes it for me.
I had this problem for ages but after I installed liquid 0.9.6pre1 the problem has gone away. Sometimes, when adding something to the task bar or changing the icon, you need to do a quick "dcop kicker kicker restart" but apart from that, it works fine for me now.

Nice one. The Noia home icon looks good together with the Crystal icons, btw. I'm going to copy that. :)
I like your kicker background, could you post it here?
But nonetheless this belongs to "Screenshots", not in the overly abused category "Others".
