The whole inspiration was me imagining all the versions of Ubuntu got frozen in an Ice Age and then that block of ice smashed by a big sledge hammer and all the pieces you see on the screen of different shapes and colors of UBUNTU all represent past versions of Ubuntu, since this will be the first solid release on stock Gnome 3, I wanted the focal point to be on the center of the wallpaper which represents a new beginning and out with the old, as you may notice the smashed pieces off the side but, the BIONIC BEAVER standing tall in the middle.
