HI! Any chance to revive it for VLC 3.0? Desperately needed! :>
First, I would like to thank the very good plugin "srpos". Then I would point to a conflict with Python. When executing a program with vlc.py, the following two error messages are generated: "Der Prouedureinspringpunkt "pl_Get" wurde in der DLL "C:\Programm Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins\srpos\libsrpos2086_plugin.dll" nicht gefunden." und "Der Prouedureinspringpunkt "pl_Get" wurde in der DLL "C:\Programm Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\plugins\srpos\libsrpos2186_plugin.dll" nicht gefunden." If these two messages are clicked away, the program works correctly.
im with vlc-2.2.3-win32 and dont have this button "save/restore position of the last played files" what i do?.Thanks
The plugin does what it says it does... and that is it! In other words: If you go back to replay that video it you will get the end credits! You would have thought that there would be a little more intelligence behind the design of it. There does not seem to be any other option to reset it other than going to the users/name/appdata/roaming/vlc and then manually resetting each video to 0.0. I tried deleting all previous records and the whole thing broke then! Is there no panel for just removing all records?
Sorry for any confusion - I mean: Once you have finished watching the video... if you came back to watch the film/ episode again you would get the end credits because that was probably where the video was stopped. Unless there is some kind of time limit on how long the record is kept for that I have not noticed. I believe a previous plugin always asked if you wanted to resume - I believe that was the default plugin that got removed.
NOTE: That was the spros.ini file for anyone who wanted to know! Local drive/users/name/appdata/roaming/vlc/spros.ini Once any video is finished I just set each beginning number to 0.0. No watches to the very end of the video. If you don't reset them then, if you come back to a series and watch it again, each one will start with the end credits.
...that is "No one watches..."* A simple edit on here would be nice...
I found a simply way on Opensuse to install. 1. go to the opensuse page 2. up in the middle places of the openuse page is a search box 3. click on the green opensuse logo and change it to "software’s" 4.type in the box: "srpos" and install your variant 5. then on vlc Tools> Preference> at the bottom of the window at Show Settings> click the "All " option and go to "Interface> Control Interfaces and check SAVE/RESTORE POSITION OF THE LAST PLAYED FILES
in vlc 2.2.3.win32 dont have SAVE/RESTORE POSITION OF THE LAST PLAYED FILES. what i must do?thanks
Woked fine with me. Thanks.
I listen to a lot of podcasts, copied from iTunes. Their player, also MediaGo, continues from where I stopped. Those players are nonsense, VLC is probably the best player, but does not have mentioned feature. I have a long playlist, it does not start with the item I listened to. When clicking this item, this addon works as expected! No need to remember the time-stamp...a very time-saving addon. I am using the previous version, Twoflower. The newest release is not convincing because when hovering over the playlist small windows are always popping up, seems impossible to stop that!? Strong recommendation for this addon!
I had high hopes for this addon but I'm little bit disappointed. At least on my computer I have to go to "Preferences" and click on "Save" button on every VLC session. If I don't do this VLC won't remember last position. VLC 2.1
I pasted the unpacked file without the folder into the recommended folder, but I do not know if this is relevant.
