About this addon:

This plugin saves the "Now Playing" infos/metadata to a text file.
It can be useful to remember artists and song name while listening to webradios.


Installation:
Copy the plugin file in the folder:
On Linux: ~/.local/share/vlc/lua/extensions/
On Windows or MacOSX: lua/{playlist,meta,intf}/

Restart vlc.
This plugin should now be visible as "Remember Now Playing" in the "View" menu.


Usage:
While a media is being played, click on "Remember Now Playing" from the "View" menu.

The metadata are stored in a text file: /lua/extensions/userdata/remember-playing-now.txt
