Could you please please please update this to 3.0? you can't imagine how long i've been looking for something like this, it's amazing, the only reason i'm asking this is because VLC 2.0.5 doesn't support HEVC :(
pleaaaase
It would be awesome!
There was a problem with getting the video time with the method I used for the versions after 2.0.5.
But, I am not sure if that was the only problem or not.
I suggest you to run the extension with your target version and check the logs (messages) to point the issue.
Hi blackleafdra gon, absolutely, it use subtitle to determine there is talking or not. It can be possible to detect from audio, but i think it is a little bit hard :)

I tried it but doesn't work (nothing happens). Maybe it isn't compatible with the last vlc version? vlc version : 2.5.7 OS : linux
Hi, you are right. It is not compatible with 2.5.7. As I mentioned in the details, it requires version 2.0.5 :(
I would like to upgrade it for vlc 3.0. Some suggestions where to start from debugging it?

Hmm how does this work? does it use subtitle files to find out when there is no text ?
