8Great set of sound effects! They clearly convey the reason for their playing, and they are not offensive to the ears. Unfortunately, this is not a complete theme, and it is not packaged for use at `~/.local/share/sounds`.
I love the lightness of these! they all really work well with eachother, Very nicely done! (I especially love how the fail goes so low!)
Happy to vote for this set!
Thank you so much for this addition.
The only one sound I could complain about is "popup". Everything else is almost perfect. Gorgeous log sound by the way.
Keep up the good work!!
PS:// I cannot wait to finish my Ratpoison configuration with a little touch of "sounding" elegance.
I'll write about this sound theme at my Blog so that (hopefully) many people be aware of it.
Cheers
Thank you for the feedback! All critics and complements are great for improving this and next projects.
Please send me a link if you write about it on your blog =D
Hello
im new on Ubuntu and i downloaded some sounds but i dunno how to install them.
i tryed to drag and drop the new sounds into the sound folder.. but i cant...
i searched in google for answers but there was only oone that not worked for me...
on some result one person said i have to create a sound theme with synaptic.. but i dunno how
can anyone help me pls?
maybe a tutorial for that ?
Please relax.
It is apparent you haven't take too much time for checking out the available documentation. Many people tends to avoid requests like this pointing out (RTFM).
However, here we go...
You can add your audio files to whatever directory you feel comfortable with.
Click on Gnome's (I think this is your case...) or KDE's menu and check out the preferences dialog (usually under "system") or something like that. I don't use any of them [...]
There you can setup your audio preferences, selecting the audio files you want to use.
That's all!
PS:// You couldn't copy this files to the sounds directory because it is system protected and only accessible with root (Super user) password, as anything in your disk except /home/you/..
Welcome to the site and welcome to Linux :D
Sounds good. I can't wait to hear it get bigger and better :)
Only suggestion I could think of is to try and see if you can use maybe samples of a keyboard for the some sounds, like you did with the guitar one.
I'm increasing the size of this set and probably some variations of a couple sounds might show up.
The feedbacks will be very important for me to guide some things in it, so thank you for your comment =]

9 9 excellent
Nice work! They were a little quiet for my taste though (I usually have music playing), so I had to run them through ffmpeg to increase the volume.
Oooo-SOOOM! Keep it up bro!
You realise that .tar files are uncompressed? What you want to upload is a .tar.gz file.

when i try to download archive i got a page with file not found message. can you reupload it?
Sorry, but here the file is downloading without problems. I'll search for any problem that could be the cause
the same problem . I think it's done by our Chinese government's firewall-great firewall. can you upload it to another server ,please?
Hi, Tell me a hosting site that aren't blocked there and I host it and post an alternate link.
the "Google site" doesn't been block. http://sites.google.com/
I added a mirror from Google Sites, probably you won't have problems now :)
