I personally have no problem with the sounds playing well through the shutdown process; it adds a nice effect as far as I'm concerned.

Though I liked the sounds, I must say they are too long. 15 seconds in logon is acceptable but not in logoff; logoff must not go beyond 2-3 seconds.
ok, I guess it just kinda fit my theme at the time - mystic, ambient stuff :)
