I'm running KDE 3.1 ontop of Gentoo
The wallpaper was found here
Window decoration is Plastik
On the right is Liquid Weather and Glas-news (modified)
Above is Slickbar (heavily modified)
I switched clock fonts cuz I couldn't read the original. The XMMS panel has been chopped down and I wrote a function that scrolls the title. It's a pretty slow and choppy scroll because I had to do it by cutting out a letter at a time. Any idea how to do smooth scrolling?
The Stats panel next to XMMS was custom built and pulls its info form LM-Sensors.
There are two "QuickLaunch" panels because the first one isn't a QuickLaunch. I built another panel that would do custom popup menus. All you have to do is add a folder and fill it with desktop config files and the panel will create a custom popup menu that you can use to run whatever's in the folder it'll handle as many as you can create.
If anyone's interested I'll post the code for it.
I think that's it. I use a lot of shortcut keys so I don't need many controls. I also really like clean looks.. so sexy

So that's it.. Lemme know what you think.

nice... how did you get rid of kicker?
Slickbar has an option to hide the kicker.
What do you use shortcut keys for? If it's for applications.. can I suggest trying out iLaunch? It groups all your needed apps into a wheel mouse scrolling single icon. Still clean enough for you desktop.
Most of the keys are for XMMS control or opening apps that I use constantly (mozilla, e-mail, terminal, kate) I also try to keep my fingers on the keyboard as much as possible. It's my favorite way to navigate. Thanks for the suggestion though!
I use xmms, evolution, aterm, kate, and a few others.. and it works just great if you have a wheel mouse. Only one icon with all that access while you scroll your wheel. Plus drop files onto it and it launches them. -p0z3r
