TakeNote is a simple cross-platform note taking program implemented in Python and GTK. TakeNote is ideal for storing your class notes, TODO lists, research notes, journal entries, paper outlines, etc in a simple notebook hierarchy with rich-text formatting, images, and more. Using full-text search, you can retrieve any note for later reference.
TakeNote is designed to be cross-platform (runs on Windows, Linux, and MacOS X, implemented in Python and PyGTK) and stores your notes in simple and easy to manipulate file formats (HTML and XML). Archiving and transferring your notes is as easy as zipping or copying a folder. TakeNote is licensed under GPL.

I've discovered TakeNote (better KeepNote, as it is called now!) just surfing and looking for other kind of software.. but when I read about it I thought that I really need it for writing some stories..!
I've downloaded this version but then I follow the homepage link and discovered a newer version (0.5.2) and a new name..
so.. don't you think you could update this page??
have a nice work, anyway..
