Description: Based on Pumpkin which is shipped with Kubuntu. Only text colors are changed to give a more Ubuntu-like feeling.
(For desktop background I picked 'active titlebar' and the 'window background' colors from the color scheme and picked 'vertical gradient' between them. The theme I use is "Platinum".)
Hope you enjoy this slight tweak towards a more Ubuntu-like Kubuntu. There seems to be a lot of other stuff here too to help you out. Seems like some people, like me like the KDE functionality but can't stand the Windows-like look of it. :-)
A nice color combination, though I doubt that's easy on eyes. I wouldn't stare at it the whole day :)
About KDE looking too windozish - yeah, that's the problem. It has some config dialogs at the first start telling users to set their preferred look'n'feel. There should be more options (like color combinations, etc), so there will be nothing "by default".
