These are a great improvement over the current MEPIS icons. I'm going to install these in a moment.
One thing to keep in mind though with the really round icons is to avoid the marble trap.
As a general question to the others here at Looky, "Does anyone have a good idea as to how the round icons could be redone?"
Sorry for the long post, but one more thing; is there any chance of getting your *.xfc files for these icons sent to me? I would like to try and recreate them using Inkspace, and then I would gladly hand them back to you. You could judge whether or not my derivative SVG files are worthy of your originals.
This was done in inkscape, so I included the svgs if you want to tweak them. I don't really have a good place to host them so that link my break after a few days.
