just so's ya know's - whenever/ whereever I install linux- this is the first thing I download... I like it that much : )
excellent job! with this and xmms's matching theme, i have a great looking desktop! thanks for all your efforts. :-)
I'm using this theme since 2 months and I've to say that it's probably the best WinStyle theme that I have found for KDE. Great Job ;)
Are the menu and tabs (as seen in the screenshot) something you get from using Smooth Aqua or are they some seperate style/theme/thingy? If so where to get it?
I am using KDE 3.1 and it works fine for me. I even modified it to use the inactive windows' silver buttons (which I like better) as the active window buttons. You do have IceWM installed? Just an obvious question, you didn't really give enough info to isolate the problem. -Jon
Smooth Aqua doen't seem to work in KDE 3. I use Suse 8.1 and don't know anything about Linux. I used to work with Apple but since they use the same sort of OS now I prefer the PC with Suse. My mac couldn't torse the heavy weight of Jaguar. I only mis the Aqualook.I think I'm gonna cry.
The effect on buttons for maximize and minimize seem interchanged; normally, the first button minimizes... otherwise good work.
WHO CARES?!
Great window decoration, I like the smooth edges much more than the other IceWM Aqua decoration. However, it is confusing having the yellow and green colored buttons switched. I tend to mouse-up there and just click the button rather than looking at the color first, so with this decoration I will restore a window when I mean to minimize etc. Not a huge point, this decoration would be near-perfect if only the buttons went: minimize | maximize/ restore | close. Thanks for making this though, goof work. :)
or, 'good' work, even! (nuts)
I jusy unzipped it and put it in my ~./kde2/share/apps/kwin/icewm/ directory and this looks better than the one or two other Aqua Window Decorations out there. Sure there are several Aqua themes as the misguided kiddies were quick to point out but this is an IceWM decoration meaning the window itself, not the theme! Not the widget style either. I hope the first few posters actually know the difference by now. This has a cleaner look on the window border and I appreciate leaving the menu button to the app mini icon. This is nice!
Once again, this is only a window decoration that can be used with any theme. Style and Theme are separate things altogether.
Great theme. Can anyone tell me how to give the desktop icons a totally different font than other items, so that the icon fonts are, say, verdana, but the other items at such as menus and task/toolbars have a different one? Thanks
Desktop fonts are configurable in LookNFeel->Desktop->Appearance. Konqueror filemanagement fonts are in FileBrowsing->File Manager->Appearance. Konqueror webbrowsing fonts are in WebBrowsing->Konqueror Browser->Appearance. Generic KDE fonts are in LookNFeel->Fonts.
The easiest way is to right click on the desktop and click on the configuration item. You then click on the appearance tab and there you set the fonts for desktop only.
In fact it is just one more aqua theme... Well, I like it but there are already at least 5 aqua themes, if we count native and icewm ! It lacks brand new decoration...
It wan't meant to be original. Rather, the changes were meant to make an existing theme (IMO) look better.
about this theme, is its originality
oh yeah, i've never seen a theme like this before. amazing creativity
Hey guys! This is the window decoration, not the theme silly!
