Description: Blue theme uses a Rurouni Kenshin blue wallpaper with the AquaFusion icon theme or Marbles (Translucent) icon set to create a unique desktop look. It requires the installation of Mosfet's High Performance Liquid KDE style engine to add effects such as translucent menus and windows decorations.

how did you change the background color of the inactive buttons on the virtual desktop switcher ?
i'm stuck with the standard dark-grey/black background.
is there a way to change that without loading a new theme ?
KDE 3.x allows you to make menus translucent. In order to do this, you would have to open up KDE Control Center. Then expand "Look & Feel". You will then see a section "Style". Click on that and select the "Effects" TAB at the top. Select "Enable GUI Effects" which would then allow you to select "Make translucent" in the "Menu Effect" section.
You could then play around with the settings below to get the right opacity for you.
If you don't have that option, you could try installing Mosfet's High Performance Liquid Engine.
I'm trying to install Mosfet's liquid engine in Kde 3.0 but to no avail...
This is by saugestions on the blue-them... I downloaded and compiled version 0.9.5 for Kde 3, compiled and installed, But I dont get any Liquid engine in the Look and Feel in the Kde control center.
What could be wrong?
I'm using Mandrake 9.0 Kde 3.0.3
Any help would be very appreciated.
No I don get it...
And I don't know how to make it appear... I've tried to find kde in /opt/kde but on my distro ita not there...
Maybe that's the problem... I have mosfet compiled on /opt, but how can I make KDE get noticed of mosfet?
Well, originally I did that exactly... following instructions on mosfet page.
But no Mosfet Liquid on Kde Control Panel...
Would it be Mandrake & kde... maybe they are non-standard... and mosfet's make install does its job but in the directories that my kde doesn't recognize...
I mean: In my box Kde is not on /opt/kde...
Would it be that?
Jean
I figured out what was it...
Make install asumeskde in /usr/local
But mandrake default kde in /usr...
I supposed I didn't give some kind of relocation parameter when installed.
Copied manually and now it ok.

I usually use the following: make make install and it automatically installs it for me.

Very nice ...Merci et bonne cotinuation
Beautiful :-)
sorry but it would make me blind in minutes.
It's a very good colorscheme, and the contrast is in no way wrong.
