nice !!!
Well, I tried with all the possibilities and the theme does not work. Very good theme anyway...
Please follow these directions: Download Liberty clock on your desktop and extract the folder Open the terminal and type: sudo rm -rf /usr/share/cairo-clock/themes/liberty/ then sudo cp -r $HOME/Desktop/liberty /usr/share/cairo-clock/themes/ Done Let me know and thanx for the good comment.
Hi there, after a couple of hours I've got it to work (had the same problem as previous posters). I copied all files to: /usr/share/screenlets/clock/themes/cairo-clock What finally did the job, was removing the theme.conf file. (Ubuntu 8.10) Cheers
Hehehe read my previous message, I gave the same solution. :)
Anyway thank you for the support here, I have reloaded the pack without the theme.conf :)
When I select this theme, my clock disappears also. Screenlets .0.1.2 Hardy Heron I don't know what version of the clock I am using because the property sheet for the clock will not open for some reason.
I had a check with it and everything is fine here using this clock with the Liberty GTK. Anyway I have repacked it and uploaded again. Download it extract the folder and copy as root in /usr/share/cairo-clock/themes open cairo clock and select liberty from the theme menu in properties. I hope it will be fine with you. :-)
I got it to work. What I had to do was extract the svg's from the theme pack and put them into an existing theme (cairo-clock) folder replacing it's contents. Then I started the clock and selected the cairo-clock theme and voila. Nice theme, BTW. Looks good.
Does not work for me, in fact, the cairo-clock just not work at all after to installing this theme.
Remove the liberty theme and then reset the screenlet configuration. This should get the clock to at least start. Then try my above solution to get the liberty theme to work.
Although it is fine here and then I couldnt check the difference, you can have a try. Open the clock folder, get rid of the theme.conf in it and retry. Let me know please. :-)
Does not work on my laptop (Dell Vostro 1500). In fact, the cairo-clock is not visible at all in this moment, once the Liberty theme is selected.
This is weird... though I have uploaded this new version. Try it. :-)
The problem is persistent. I have not idea what happen. Anyway, I voted Good, very nice theme!
