Hi I'm new in the Ubuntu world and I need some help. I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 along with windows xp. I was unable to move the file because it gave the next error: Error while moving "hal9000". There was an error moving the file into /usr/share/cairo-clock/themes. Error moving file: Permission denied Could somebody help me please??
You must restart cairo-clock. After restarted, you can see in the theme menu : propeities, theme,:hall 9000.
I suppose that may be because you're using the clock as screenlet. I'm using it that way too, and I don't know where it stores its themes. Any help anybody?
i dont know how to install this theme...can you help me pls?
Extract the file content to a folder i.e. hal9000 As root, you have to move the folder to /usr/share/cairo-clock/themes/ You can open a nautilus window as root opening a terminal and using the "sudo nautilus" command (without quotes). Then copy the extracted folder inside /usr/share/cairo-clock/themes/ After you have done this righ clinck on the clock and go to properties, the hal9000 theme should now appear in the themes list. I hope that solve your problem and excuse me for my not-so-good english.
I did what you said and the file is now in /usr/share/cairo-clock/themes/ But when I try to find it in the themelist, it's not there. What to do?
