Hmail
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Now works with Windows Live!
Converted to using GetLive (http://sourceforge.net/projects/getlive/), thanks to Jos De Laender for continuing work on it.
Feel free to use it and modify it as desired.
Version .3:
- Now works with Windows Live!
- Converted to using GetLive (http://sourceforge.net/projects/getlive/), thanks to Jos De Laender for continuing work on it.
- Now shows number of messages in each box as well as unread messages.
Known Issue: Columns are not being honored properly by SuperKaramba, although the shell script outputs it correctly. If anyone knows how to fix this, let me know.
Version .2:
Gotmail appends to the temporary mailbox files causing them to grow very large. This update cleans up the temp mail files after each run.

Hi Nice little theme :) I noticed that when you've read an email the widget was never being updated so I had to add the command "interval=60000" into the hmail.theme file. It now reads: program="/home/user/hmail/scripts/gethotmail" fontsize=11 interval=60000 Can you let me know whether I was supposed to do this or not. Many thanks Dave
Hi I also noticed that the widget doesn't display all the columns correctly if a hotmail folder has "spaces" in it's name. To fix this I just renamed my hotmail folders and changed the "spaces" for underscores _ Cheers Dave
The "program" sensor is supposed to have a default interval of 360000 milliseconds (6 minutes). Did you wait longer than 6 minutes for it to update?
No I didn't opps ;) Sorry for being impatient. Is it specified anywhere that it will update every 6 mins ? Many thanks Dave
No, it isn't specified anywhere. Thats just the SK default for that sensor type. I guess I could add a statement or comment somewhere in the future if/when I update this again. Thanks!
Any way to convert it to Gmail checker? or any mail address knowing the directions of the servers?
Unfortunately, the core program (gotmail) only works with Hotmail and its derivatives (hotmail.com , msn.com, charter.com, compaq.net, hot?mail.co.jp, hotmail.co.uk, hotmail.de, hotmail.fr, hotmail.it,messengeruser.com, passport.com, webtv.net).
This cool!Good work;)
