Description: Dials is a superkaramba system monitor with a slight twist: instead of graphs or a numeric readout it uses analog gagues for most of the display. The theme is based off of the instrument cluster of a Ferrari 550 Barchetta (I figure if you're going to make a system monitor why not do it with some STYLE!)
This is the initial release of Dials and includes 7 readouts (CPU, MEM, net up, net down, CPU and system temps, and swap indicator). Additional readouts are possible in the future. Several options are available from the configure menu - all of which are explained in the README , which is also viewable via the configure menu.
Short-term TODO:
- Include Disk Usage readouts - Figure out what to do with the 'light' on the CPU dial - Expand configure menu so that editing of .theme and .py is not needed - add additional network interfaces
Long-term TODO:
- add option to use imagemagick for needle rendering - add ability for users to create their own graphics and load through dials
