I thought a lot in the last weeks, and i came to the conclusion that superkaramba should be ovject-oriented.
It would ease a lot many thing to the superkaramba theme developpers, such as creating configuration windows with superkaramba.
I created a python script that shows what i think superkaramba should be.
This is working prperly (at least it seems) but have a lot of graphical issues, and is damn SLOW. If it were in superkaramba, developped in C++, this would rock ! (at leat i think it would

This script is fully useable (even if not documented) and it will surely evolve to something more quick, and much less ugly

SK will be replaced with Plasma in KDE 4 anyway.
SK will be replaced with Plasma in KDE 4 anyway. KDE 4 will be replaced with KDE 5... Why do we need to bother with KDE 4 then? :)
Yes, i thought about this, too. But even when KDE4 will be out, there will still be people using KDE 3.x And KDE4 won't be out before some month, so i think thaht KDE 3.x can still be better. As suslik said, why should the KDE tema botheriing with 3.5.x when KDE4 is coming ? thaht don't make sens to me. :p
Superkaramba is ugly? That does'nt make any sense. Why fix what is'nt broken?
sorry, i meant my script is ugly :p
Something like this has already been done, its name is Skoot and was created by the author of slickbar. http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=8344&PHPSESSID=f6cee
Thank you, i didn't know ! But my aim is to ask the SK developpers if they want a Object-Oriented SK, or not. I want SuperKaramba itself to change, not developping an API in python (too slow in my opinion)
