The CD looks very good. I think moving up the "linux for human beings" and spacing the words a little more is the only thing that would improve it.
I'll be releasing logos for the other Ubuntu variants soon if you want to grab the SVGs to use for other CDs.
The font that Ubuntu is now using for its branding is called "InterFace", you can find it here: http://www.daltonmaag.com/typogfx?family=1
i don't think this is the font they use. i can find many differences between this one and the one used in the ubuntu logo.
Someone told me the font isn't finished yet. just the characters used in ubuntu are done yet.
No, I wasn't referring to the new logo font... that one is based on the Xenu typeface.

Very nice, maybe you could publish a version without the "Linux for human beings. As far as I know 10.04 has another slogan.
