In case of the syntax erros that are mentioned above, install kdebase-devel. It contains the file kdecoration.h which is needed to compile this package.
After executing ./configure, the "check" process fails with the following error... configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check
It says "Error: sintax error before '}' token" or something like that... maybe a mistake from mine?
Same error here on Fedora Core2: activeheart.cpp:1787: error: cannot call member function `virtual void QWidget::resizeEvent(QResizeEvent*)' without object activeheart.cpp:1791: error: cannot call member function `virtual void QButton::paintEvent(QPaintEvent*)' without object activeheart.cpp:1795: error: cannot call member function `virtual void QWidget::mouseDoubleClickEvent(QMouseEvent*)' without object activeheart.cpp:1799: error: `processMousePressEvent' undeclared (first use this function) activeheart.cpp:1807: error: syntax error before `}' token activeheart.cpp:1817: error: syntax error before `*' token make[3]: *** [activeheart.lo] Fehler 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/daten/downloads/kwin-activeheart-1.1/kwin' make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Fehler 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/daten/downloads/kwin-activeheart-1.1/kwin' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Fehler 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/daten/downloads/kwin-activeheart-1.1' make: *** [all] Fehler 2
I've the same error on mandrake official 10.1 somebody have a solution for this problem?
great work, love the seamless borders :)
Nice work, Keep it up. Please try to include drop shadows to the window. that will improve the look & feel much more.
Is anyone having pobs installing this? Complains it can't find Qt (>= Qt 3.2) (library qt-mt) even though I have 3.3 installed and am pointing configure to the right path... Help!
You've got to install kdelibs-devel first. I used to have the same problem in my Just-Running MDK10. Remember to point the configure to your KDE config dir, nor will install and none will be seen in the config panel.
How do you make these kwin window decorations, I am a relitivly new programmer to Linux(Been programming on Windows/Dos for years) And would like to know how to make window decorations for kde 3.2 email me at timothysaddress2@yahoo.com if you feel inclined to tell me, thanks
Now this is a fresh look!
This is a very nice windec. My only "complaint" is that it doesn't look as nice when a window is shaded. It still shows the bottom border of the window, thus ruining the nice, rounded corners. I know most windecs do that, actually, 'cept for Grover, so really, this isn't a complaint against *this* windec really, but most of the others. ;-)
But shaded windows won't look complete without the bottom border proudly displaying the title blend colour! Just my opinion, of course, since a lot of people clearly don't think that more colours == better. ;)
Once again, beautiful work. Keep it up.
This complements the Active Heart style perfectly. Even Plastik wasn't able to become both my style and window decoration of choice (I preferred the Knifty windeco). Being able to reduce the titlebar's height is a very useful option, adding to this windeco's attractiveness. Well done, very well done!
hey man this is an awsome theme, very artistic I like it. is there perhaps a kde 3.1 version?. for kde 3.1 people?
Great work, as usual :D
