Best if combined with either Human or Gartoon icon sets (at least to me).
I developed this color scheme as I've never been able to find anything that will use true dark colors for all its rendering, and many of the ones that use black schemes are heavily filled with a lot of bombastic designs that divert the attention from the important parts of the working scenario to the design itself.
This is meant to be a robust looking theme with a clean sofisticated appeal.
I know it's not reeeeally black (despite its name) but a dark aproach to cleanliness

Thanks to the developers of ThinAndMild and Black, which I used and/or modified.
* Firefox needs some tweaking for input text fields and others, which don't respect the theme's scheme and show black text on dark background, making it impossible to read what your typing.
These lines need to be added to "userContent.css" or your ~/.mozilla/firefox/profile/chrome folder.
If you don't have a "userContent.css" file there (highly probable), just copy-paste "userContent-example.css" as "userContent.css", and edit it to add these lines:
.submit,input {
color: #CCCCCC ! important;
background: #343434 !important;
}
Thanks again to Richard Kolkovich for enduring "CSS hell" (:D) for this.

The most usable black GTK theme here. Thanks for the hard work; the CSS was a walk in the park (albeit a dark, dank park with a lot of criminals and vagrants) compared to writing a full theme. :)
This is the first black theme I've tried that looks good in Firefox without adjusting anything. Also, the contast between the black and the text is good all around.
