This pic of "Rei" is a bit too young soft and "cute". I don't think I was ever obsessed with NGE, but I there's something that feels inherently wrong with this pic. This Rei lacks the incredibly sad existencialism-turned-dead-end suicidal tendency's of Rei. Then again, I suppose it is just a background, and not a bad one at that. Maybe I am obsessed after all. ;-)

Rei isnt as young as she looks. Its been about 2 years since I last watched NGE, but I know shes old enough for us to be attracted to her. Oh and....
PLEASE MAKE ALL WALLPAPER 1600x1200, so that it cover's all desktop sizes. If its super-large, then anyone can use it, its call sizing down. ooooh....magical
Very wonderful wallpaper! However, you should, as a rule of thumb, always make a wallpaper 1600x1200 by default and then just let people scale it down as they need, if at all. Oh and, Rei isnt THAT young, though the pic doesnt look it.

but then again she is a little too soft. maybe make her more organic? (brown/blond hair, dark eyes) and with a penguin?

LOL I certainly hope she is, since she was nude for about an hour in End of Evangelion. Any new wallpapers I make will be in 1600x1200.
