For those of you who say war is war, art is art, get a hold of yourself! Tactics, especially with infantry, is an art. Not everyone can do it. The F-16 is an incredible machine. Fast and deadly. Who wouldn't want one of those for their commute to work? But it is still a machine, with no thought over what it is used for, be it an airshow, or escorting a few bombers. Anyway, great picture, really shows how freakin' cool a modern fighter jet can be.
for a moment, look at the F-16 for what it truly is, a wonderfully fast, beautiful aeroplane. art.

War allowed for the freedoms most coutries have and history goes to show you can't have peace without war. do you know how many tons of depleted uranium were shot from these planes ? do you even have interest in seeing what the u.$. terror regime does with the nuclear attacks ? a regime that terrorizes the world does not deserve acknowledging.
What nuclear Attacks I've been there haven't seen any. Maybe you should not educate yourself with propganda. Unless you've seen it yourself, which you haven't because you would be dead. I could go and say the same thing about the DU that was on the Iraqi, Iran border. Pretty much whatever country out there that has a miltary you could complain about DU, it comes from tanks. Most likely the radiation from the monitor your looking at is affecting you more then the DU you're worring about in which you have no evidence to back up your clami except FUD and I could guantee it is FUD. yeah. war's terrible. it's meant to be terrible. that's kinda the whole idea. but sometimes you have to fight. think about someone you hold extremely dear. now imagine i were to try to put an end to that person's life. and you knew i was going to do this. would you rather let me go and do that? would you try to stop me? would you fight to protect what you hold dear, or would you just stand there and lose it, just to prove the point that fighting is never worth it?
i don't like war any more than you do. i regret the fact that we have to have it. i wish everything could be solved with politics. but things just don't happen to be that way. sometimes you are left with no other choice but to fight. it should be a last resort. but even last resorts have to be used sometimes.
as for "nuclear attacks"... i'm a chem major. part of the reason i never have time for making wallpapers anymore. but my point is, i know something about it, so listen. depleted uranium contains a small, almost neglible, amount of fissile material. it can't sustain a nuclear reaction. in other words, depleted uranium is little more harmful than most other metals. lead probably causes more problems. matter of fact, i can think of a few dozen different things that people use every day that are many times worse. ever heard of draino? prime example.
all that aside, wallpapers don't have to convey a meaning. sometimes a meaning is implied or even directly stated, yes. but this isn't one of those cases. some might find this picture appealing, citing the beauty of the F-16 as a machine. me, i don't care one way or another. it's a good picture, but it's just really not my thing. i think that what a wallpaper's supposed to do, though, is to just show something people feel glad to have somewhere on earth. everyone has their own concept of beauty. whether you agree with it or not, that's something else in its entirety.
We need not read into the works of others what we see in ourselves, what we fear in ourselves or the anger we carry.
Take what is given to you in the manner and meaning in which the giver intended.
The photo is beautiful. The machine is beautiful. A scientific work of marvel.

It takes two sides to go to war, and not every side is always the guilty party. What would the world be like today if no one had gone to war with Nazi Germany? What if the USSR decided that war was too great a price and let the Wehrmacht roll into Moscow without a struggle? What if the US decided to storm the beaches of Normandy without weapons?
That would have been great! But unfortunately he did not. By the time 1941 rolled around, we could no longer ignore Hitler. War is never good, but sometimes it is necessary.
it takes only one side to be the aggressor. today politics must strive to act deescalating. everything that promotes war or violence is old-fashioned and will not survive.
