Lazy Homer Grub Splash
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
Homer in underpants sleeping on yout Grub Splash
move the lazy_homer.xpm.gz file to the directory /boot/grub/splashes.
sudo mkdir /boot/grub/splashes
sudo mv lazy_homer.xpm.gz /boot/grub/splashes
After that, edit the file /boot/grub/menu.lst and edit or add this line somewhere near the top of the file:
splashimage=(hd0,0)/boot/grub/splashes/lazy_homer.xpm.gz

i don't know exactly if it's because of the configuration of the partitions but normally the partitions are in (hd0,1) no (0,0). so i putted splashimage=(hd0,1)/boot/grub/splashes/lazy_homer.xpm.gz that way worked for me..
