Description: This script allows you to open a windows internet shortcut on Linux.
Supported internet browsers: > Firefox
Installation: 1. simply unpack the archive anywhere you like 2. open the script file with a text editor (for ex. gedit) and modify the location of firefox binary if needed 3. copy open-WiNshortcut file to the "~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/" directory
To open an internet shortcut from windows just right click on it, choose scripts > open-WiNshortcut, it should open in a new tab or window (You can set this in firefox).

What do you mean? Does it create a new menu item? Or does it just replace all the default firefox icons with this one?

I guess it's a plugin to Nautilus so people can open Windows's shortcut files on Linux.
