Instalation Put it in your /usr/local/share/screenlets and run it from there
I must say i asked everaldo (the original creator of the png's for permission last weak but he didnt reply , if i doesnt want me to use his png's ill remove this , in the meantime i hope to see some new versions of it) well im shure he's ok with it since he already gave is permission to a yahoo widget , and he is a linux supporter
While we were on our laptops one of my girl friends asked me "What does Linux have that my Mac doesn't have?" I turned my laptop around to show her your screenlet and joked "A pet penguin?" ...Now she really wants one! haha
Anyway, I hope we get the eating and sleeping features..it would be cool if he interacted with the time of the day or what not.
I absolutely love this!!
I actually installed screenlets just to
get this lovely tux to walk around on my
desktop!
Amazingly cool, I love it,, oh I said that
already.
Voted Good!!
Thank you so much for this!

I cant get this to work at all. I put it in ~/.screenlets/, like all of my other screenlets and launch it from the Screenlets manager, but it doesnt come up.
Any idea?

I don't know I just double-clicked the TuxaGoshiScreenlet.py file and the tux popped up. Hope this helps! //Robert
This kind of archive does not works well with the standard linux archives readers. Please use tar.bz2 or at least zip.
What does this screenlet do? Is it just a tux you can move around on your desktop?
