Description:
I was so inspired by the port of Azenis that I spent about an hour browsing www.wincustomize.com. I had forgotten how beautiful Windows Blinds themes are. So I am trying to take the blinds appeal to KDE.

All the source files for this theme are included. This is only in its development stages, I will not answer any questions about installing until the first full release, this release is so I can get feedback on what has been done so far, and for any bugs in the theme.
Last changelog:

I have decided to make two different variations of this theme. Glossy/Tech. The glossy variation is what is in the screen shot (with the exception of the wallpaper) and the Tech variation has not yet been solidified.

-Improved glossy wallpaper (screenshot)
-WARNING: This file contains several large .xcf files, some reaching almost 10mb, the total download size is around 28mb, if you would like just the theme without the source, please send me an e-mail at sci-fifreak@aaahawk.com, and I will send you the 3mb version without source.

Hello ! You wrote : "if you would like just the theme without the source, please send me an e-mail, and I will send you the 3mb version without source." Your email address isn't valid anymore. How can I get the theme without source files version ? Can you post the link to download it, please ? Thank you !

heyy does any one know what is the widget style of this theme?.. and where can i find the dungeon font? thanks.. ;)

I really like this theme, but I think you could significantly improve its appearance by exchanging the current taskbar BG with the Kore one as your theme is a glossy one and no plastic-style.

falco101

Thank you for your comment. What is wrong with the current taskbar bg? it actually looks very similar to the one included with Kore. As for looking like plastic, I do not see the resemblance.

I like very much Your works because You put attention to all details, so Your themes can have the capital t (Themes and not themes)!

will00lliw

ey can you tell me what font, color scheme, and icon scheme you used?

falco101

I have been really busy lately, so I haven't had much time to work on the theme. The icons are Snowish by Saki (hands down one of the best icon artist ever) and the color scheme is a slightly altered oxygen scheme. So make it whatever you want for now. The font is Dungeon.

theZoid

great look to this, however Kubuntu 8.04 is telling me it's not a valid theme archive when KDM Theme manager tries to install it. What's the deal. thanks

theZoid

sorry....valid archive...wrong theme, disregard...

Ezy

What is that font you using?

falco101

Dungeon I do believe thsi font ships with Open SUSE 10.3, I am sure if it ships with any other distributions.

I'm anxious for the full. This is a gorgeous theme. Nice work

FrozenFox

Simply gorgeous. Upvoted of course. I don't intend to use it, however, as I'm a fan of intense saturated blues and deep dark "midnight"-ish blues. I do know someone who would love it though, and shall point them this way. It's refreshing to see something a little more unique around here. :)

I also enjoy that design style, that is why I made kollide: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=75295 But I wanted to break away from the norm and do something different. Right now EDWARD0S and I are working on making several different colored version of this theme. Blue being one of them, not quite saturated or midnight, but it will still look good, and might even have some appeal to you.

FrozenFox

Awesome :) That's quite nice too. What font is the clock using in the bottom right of the picture on that page?

falco101

Dungeon

Good theme ! I really like your new wallpaper :)

Ezy

Yet another nice theme :)

Congratulations for your work so far! KDE 3.5 certainly deserves that!

falco101

Thanks. I will be making a white version of the dekorator and KBFX menu for all those who prefer lighter themes.
