the kmenu-button depends on panel-size "small" (22x22).
you only have to copy the image to /usr/share/icons/crystalsvg/22x22/apps/ and rename the image to kmenu.png.
but before you copy the new image, save the old image.
(e.g. rename it to kmenu.png.old)
