Description: I like my Desktops numbered just for frame of reference. I took advantage of Cube Reflection by transposing the bottom cap so you can see the number in the reflection.
I kept it simple so you can bucket fill with gimp if you want it to match your color scheme.
under Cube Caps>Behaviour> set "Clamp" for top and bottom so the numbers don't move around on you.
Cube Caps>Appearance>Cube Top/Bottom Color>Opacity = 0 for transparency
You may want to turn down Opacity on Cube Reflection to see the numbers better. Cube Reflection> Ground color(near) >Opacity
Nice to see such a simple solution for this :)
I've been thinking for myself how to solve this (find a simple way to know which desk I was looking at) but this never crossed my mind :)
