This looks really awesome, but it isn't working for me. I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 with KDE4. I use a bluetooth speaker so it is nice to be able to access the volume of the devices quickly.
Thanks
Very nice but occasionally locks up with 100% load on a single CPU core. Maybe one reboot in twenty. I'm using version 0.18.3-1 from the Ubuntu 14.04 repository.
Is there debug code or something that I could add to let me figure out what it's doing if it locks up again?
I am using Veromix on Awesome WM. I have to say great piece of sound software. Needless to see I have been looking for something like this for awhile now.
I'm using Kubuntu 12.04 LTS with KDE ppa backports, and I'm glad to use veromix.
Just found 3 minor issues:
1 - after resume from suspend, the icon on systray got frozen, and is no more updated.
2 - I opened a VirtualBox VM and then switch to host to increase the volume on veromix: the tooltip stopped to be refreshed too (got frozen too).
3 - The "Apply" button in the veromix settings is always disabled.
Hi,
thanks for this. Its very nice except that its quite hard to use it on a high resolution screen with high DPI. Here's a screenshot: http://wstaw.org/m/2012/11/18/plasma-desktopW24626.png
I forgot to mention it, but since I have had to change the package name for AUR, the link is also changed, it is now https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=60883
Cheers,
Tom
This happens on almost every KDE update (very annoying) - please report this to your KDE packager... This has nothing todo with veromix (no python plasmoid will work - check gmail-plasmoid)
VeromixServiceMain file is missing in package after installing the plasmoid successfully:
~/.kde4/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids/veromix-plasmoid/dbus-service/VeromixServiceMain.py
So nothing is working. Strange, the file is missing in git, too... :(

Any chance to ge this on Plasma 5?
No: Plasma 5 does not support python plasmoids. And I dont want to start from scratch e.g. rewrite everything in javascript/qtquick.
Why not to make in a standalone app for systray just like Kmix?

No the file is not missing it was just renamed to: veromix-service-qt.py (will update the wiki soon).
You were right: The whole folder was missing. Uploaded a new fixed version. /nik
Archlinux upgraded pulseaudio to version 2. Now Veromix don't work.
I reinstalled Veromix from AUR repo and now works again with pulseaudio 2.0.
thx for the update.
